Although I have been in the Acting role as the Airbus Fleet Captain, it has been a humbling experience learning and working with the amazing talent that is within the Flight Operations Section.

Working alongside my technical pilot we have made major improvements to incorporating and expanding on the Single engine taxi procedure across the entire FJ Airbus network, including monitoring and evaluating how the procedure is being used by our Pilots.

We have also made good progress working with the engineering department on streamlining how "hold items'' are disseminated to the flight crew, thus saving time and increasing overall safety to our day-to-day operations.

I do hope to continue and take advantage of this role to work for my fellow Airbus crew to make their job safer, efficient and fullfiling.
