ACHIEVEMENT: Spearheaded a research initiative in partnership with the University of the South Pacific Students’ Association (USPSA), leading the effort from concept note development to strategic engagement with key stakeholders. When the research was challenged by students who viewed it as politically sensitive, I successfully facilitated dialogue to address their concerns. This intervention led to those same students proposing—and ultimately passing—constitutional amendments to increase female student participation in USPSA’s leadership structure and electoral processes.

ACHIEVEMENT: Appointed as Chair of the Office of the Prime Minister’s (OPM) Energy Saving Committee in 2016, I led efforts to raise awareness among all staff on the importance of energy conservation and individual responsibilities. Under my leadership, the OPM implemented effective energy-saving practices, resulting in a reduction of over 50% in energy consumption for the year.
