Practical Experience
Intern | Ministry Of Land & Minerals Resources| Valuation Division | Jan 2022- August 2022
I joined the Valuation Division on January 4th, 2022, under the statistics section assisting Technical Assistant – Litiana Feresi with property transfer documents. I prepare, fill and update all dealings from the stamp duty office on Property information statistics. I then capture new dealings if not recorded in Oracle. After capture of new dealings, I identify the metric sheet reference using Vanuaview and update by plotting the transfer of sales on the metric sheet and then noting on assessment books/slips
File assessment slips on relevant TLA books. The same procedure is used when I capture approved plans for new subdivisions. However, there is no plotting of sales but pasting the newly approved plans on the identified metric sheet.
Under the rating section, I assisted with the capture of roll maintenance for Suva, with an inclusion on the town rating that has been calculated by the Valuers and TA’s. Identified the captured roll maintenance on the roll book, tagged and given to Principal Valuer for verification.
