Serving the Revenue and Customs service on both primary fronts. Worked on enhancements to the Tax Payer and Tax Officer portal, delivering enhancements as per business need. Work was mainly focused on in the domains of the Company Income Tax, Personal Income Tax and Account relationship modules of the TPOS and TO systems. These were implemented in JavaScript & UI5 for the front end and SAP, BRF and ABAP for the backend. Served the customs front by administering the ASYCUDA platform which is the primary legacy system for customs administration in Fiji. This encompassed, DB administration, app configuration, infrastructure administration and management as well as report development. Also served as level 2 support for customers who had issues that level 1 support could not resolve.

• Worked as a backend engineer. Developed APIs for the client which were hosted on the Azure Platform. Helped the client automate stock & inventory activities also developed a module to intelligently price their car parts based on market data. Worked to also integrate 3rd party APIs like Ebay and Pinnacle to aid sales. Helped the client automate the pricing of millions of rows of part data regularly which helped improve efficiency several fold. Also helped maintain the clients SQL and Postgres databases as well as maintaining SSIS process for database backups. Summarized and presented data queried to clients to provide insight for decision making.
  
• Part of a team of internal engineers that reviewed architectural designs of all internal and external projects. In my capacity as the Cloud & DevOps lead, I was responsible for making sure our teams had guidance when adding cloud assets to their designs. Also advised on DevOps best practices and ensured all project teams bought into the DevOps culture by adopting some, if not of all its tools/methodologies.

• Designed and implemented ETL pipelines on the AWS cloud using services like S3 Buckets, AWS Glue and AWS RDS. The pipeline helped our client automate the aggregation, and transformation of data to information from its source to applications to be consumed in a timely manner.
  
• Developed PowerShell scripts that were automated to run daily in conjunction with an Azure DevOps server that remotely facilitated the continuous integration and deployment of the modules. The PowerShell scripts accounted for dependencies between the 250+ Modules and cut build times in half.
  
• Maintained a .NET application for our client, resolving bugs and other issues that arose from time to time. Also maintained the clients SQL Server Databases

• Implemented CI/CD Pipelines for internal development teams to streamline operations and automate testing and deployments.
  
• Migrated resources stored on-premises to Azure cloud and moved all repositories from Team Foundation Servers to Azure repos for our Client
• As a DevOps and Cloud Engineer, I stood up cloud infrastructure, led all DevOps work, and supported tech leads with development/maintenance for Capmation. This included managing processes, setting up CI/CD pipelines, automating tests, and managing code repositories.

• Developed software for a client on behalf of the university as part of our capstone course. The software in question was a document management system implemented in the Laravel framework.

• Served fellow students and university staff as a Helpdesk Intern. Responsible for the provisioning and configuration of internet access on student devices while helping staff log various issues they faced with the IT infrastructure around campus and then escalating those issues to the relevant authorities.

• As part of our high school internship programme, I operated under the guidance of technicians and mainly supported the work of the acquistions and repairs team by installing hardware components for new PC builds, replacing hardware components for failing builds, OS/Driver installation, system diagnostics and stock take.
